But let me tell you, the pull through sites at this KOA had to be the narrowest we have seen. We were parked under some nice big shade trees and we had a wood deck right outside our door. BUT, directly on the other side of the deck was the beginning of the site next door! For most of the week we did not have anyone staying next to us. However, on Thursday a huge fifth wheel toy hauler came into the site to our right. After he finished setting up and had all his slides extended, we were not sure if we would be able to open our awning as he was so close.

Aug 28, We hadn't seen Tom's family in a while, so we decided to spend a week at the Wapakoneta KOA just south of Lima and see if we could hook up with some of his family. We don't normally stay at KOA campgrounds, but for some reason we found ourselves at . Oct 25, From Sandy Hook to Cape May, 4, volunteers picked up garbage from New Jersey's beas Saturday.
The moonrise will glow white at dusk and is visible from the campground, which is across the highway. Downtown Wapakoneta was filled with thrift shops and antique stores which I enjoy browsing.
Wapakoneta (/?w??p??k?n?t?/ wah-pah-k?-net-t?) is a city in and the county seat of Auglaize County, Ohio, United States with a population of 9, as of the U.S. census. It is the principal city of and is included in the Wapakoneta, Ohio Micropolitan S A, which is included in the Lima-Van Wert-Wapakoneta, Ohio CSA. Some sites have more shade than others. The pull through sites are long but narrow. Our table was right beside the neighbors hook-ups. The sewer hook-ups were covered though by fake rocks. The table deck was a little too far forward for our smaller camper to line up with and use the awning. Oct 03, Wapakoneta's Kyle Beach may be a freshman but the first-year player showed off some veteran moves to record a hat trick and help the Redskins .
Our first night at the campground, a couple of guys came over and were talking to Tom. Well, never one to pass up a recommendation for a good bar, Tom went to the Alpha the next night. Not much to look at on the outside, the Alpha Cafe was quite the cool bar.
And the owner of the bar was more that happy to talk to Tom or anyone! And, best of all, Tom was happy to find out that the bar had keno!

So while I browsed the antique stores, Tom played keno and had a couple beers. That night as we were leaving the campground, there was a tornado warning issued for the area. Date of experience: July Wapakoneta, Ohio 13 contributions.

A little ways up the beach from Bates and Guzzi, Taylor Carroll and Maria Pagiazitis, both of Old Bridge, said they'd found a pair of men's underwear and the remains of a mouse, as well as a clutch of birthday balloons. Kevin Knutsen and Sirgio Introna, both from Barnegat, picked up garbage from along a ramp leading from the boardwalk to the sand. Knutsen has been volunteering with Clean Ocean Action for eight years, and Introna was doing his first beach sweep Saturday.
